Here's a few friendly guidelines to make the experience at Ananda Studio as delightful as possible for yourself and your classmates...
Time: Try to get to class 10 minutes early so that you can sign in, change and relax before class. Lobby is open 15 to 30 minutes before the start of class. In case you have to leave early, please pack and leave prior to the start of Savasana.
Cellphones in Savasana: Cellphones are to be stored and off or in airplane mode with your other belongings, and preferably not on the floor next to your mat.
Equipment: We provide everything you need including yoga mats and props, but you are free to bring your own mat. Please clean the studio’s mat with provided equipment before storing it back.
Injuries & medical conditions: Please inform your teacher of any past injuries and/or medical conditions (pregnancy, high/low blood pressure for example) so the teacher can provide you with props and modification for a safe practice.
Personal belongings: Please take off your shoes before entering the studio and place them in the shoe cabinet. You can store your belongings in the shelf at the back of the studio so the floor stays dedicated to our practice.
Food & drinks: We recommend not eating 2 to 3 hours before class and refrain from drinking water during the practice. You can refill your water bottle at the studio.
